An Iraqi hijacked a Qatar Airways aircraft flying from Doha to Amman and forced it to land in Saudi Arabia where he gave himself up, Qatar's Al-Jazeera satellite television reported.
The hijacker armed with a knife surrendered to Saudi authorities after the Airbus carrying 200 passengers landed at Hael airport, 700 kilometers (450 miles) north of the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The official Qatari news agency QNA also published the television report.
A first report said the plane flew out of Dubai -- DUBAI (AFP)
