Iraqi President Saddam Hussein met with his top officials in Baghdad Saturday, according to the official Iraq News Agency, which did not provide details on the issues reviewed during the meeting.
Izzat Ibrahim, who serves as vice-chairman of the regime's Revolution Command Council, Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan and Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz all took part in the closed meeting, INA said.
Also present were Foreign Minister Naji Sabri and Ali Hassan al-Majid, a powerful member of the Council. (Albawaba.com)
