Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has chaired a meeting of the Revolution Command Council attended by Speaker of the Iraqi National Assembly Sa’doun Hammadi.
The attendance congratulated President Saddam Hussein on winning 100% of the votes for the post of Presidency in the recent referendum, in which the people of Iraq reiterated their loyalty and love to President Saddam Hussein, in “defiance of evil forces and their lies and threats”, the official Iraq News Agency reported Thursday.
President Hussein thanked them and appreciated their efforts in helping "such a democratic process succeed." (Albawaba.com)
