IREIS 2010 to Spotlight Real Estate Investment Opportunities for Customers

The sixth annual International Real Estate & Investment Show (IREIS 2010), to be held from November 10 to 13 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will explore real estate investment opportunities from the perspective of customers.

The only real estate event that explicitly addresses the requirements of investors and customers, IREIS 2010 will bring together international and regional leading developers, home finance professionals and other stakeholders to highlight the most promising property purchases that provide long-term value.

Antoine Georges, Director of Dome Exhibitions, the organiser of IREIS, said: "IREIS 2010 comes at a very opportune time for customers, given the shift in market dynamics. Today, the property sector in the region is perceived as driven by customers and demand, thus opening doors for unprecedented value-added opportunities for buyers.”

He explained: “By bringing developers and other key players in the industry with customers, IREIS will further energise the property sector. It will help address customer concerns, put forward the developmental outlook of the developers and create an environment that facilitates property deals.”

This year, the organisers expect an even stronger participation than last year, when more than 100 exhibitors from ten countries showcased their property portfolio. "We are confident this year’s show will record a tangible increase in terms of exhibitor and visitor numbers,” added Georges.

IREIS 2010 will highlight the potential of the Abu Dhabi and regional property markets. David Dudley, Head of Jones Lang Lasalle - Abu Dhabi, one of the leading firms specialized in real estate services and investment management, said: ”While the unprecedented challenges of the global economic crisis were felt in Abu Dhabi too, the long-term prospects of the Emirate’s real estate market remain robust. The concentration of both sovereign and private wealth combined with the government’s vision and strategic investment initiatives mean that Abu Dhabi will emerge as an increasingly important global and regional hub over the coming years. As the government’s infrastructure investment and economic diversification programs take concrete shape, Abu Dhabi will take the lead in the NENA region across many sectors.”

One of the richest and fastest growing cities in the world, Abu Dhabi has several landmark projects in various stages of completion. Other growth markets in the region will also showcase their innovative projects at the exhibition.

IREIS was introduced to the emerging real estate market of Abu Dhabi in 2005, and has since then achieved spiralling growth.
