ismail matar to appear at adidas skill challenge

adidas has announced that Ismail Matar, UAE football star and top scorer of the 2007 Gulf Cup, will be making a guest appearance at the ‘adidas Skill Challenge’, Festival Square, Dubai Festival City, Saturday 19th April 3pm–5pm.
 
The event is an opportunity for the UAE’s football talent to show off their football skills and compete to win a trip to the Euro2008 championship, being jointly-held in Austria and Switzerland in June.
 
Talented youth and old pros alike are invited to complete three skill stations, each requiring the ability to demonstrate soccer techniques which match the characteristics of the adidas boot brands Predator, adiPURE and F50 TUNiT.  Completion of the skill sets will reveal which corresponding football star the participant is most aligned to, such as Steven Gerrard (Predator), Kaka (adiPURE) or Lionel Messi (F50 TUNiT).
 
All entrants will compete to find a place on the adidas team, with one winner to represent the best Predator, adiPURE and F50 TUNiT player.  These highest scoring players will win an all expenses trip to the Euro2008 finals.  Entry into the Skill Challenge is by free registration only at adidas stores throughout the UAE.  There are a limited number of places and football enthusiasts are advised to register early to avoid disappointment
