Israel announces killing Hezbollah security commander

ALBAWABA - In a new announcement, the Israeli Army claims that it had killed the  Preventive Security Division commander Nabil Kaouk in a strike on Beirut's southern suburbs on Saturday.

Hezbollah has not yet commented on Kaouk’s fate, but supporters have been posting mourning messages for him since Saturday, AlArabiya reported.

UPDATE

Confirming the news, Hezbollah released a statement mourning the killing of Al-Kaouk, who was killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut's Dahieh.

Later on Friday, the Israeli army confirmed the assassination of the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, in an airstrike in the suburb of Beirut on Friday.

Earlier reports by Israel revealed that the army had carried out a series of airstrikes on Hezbollah's headquarters in Beirut's southern suburb targeting Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
