Israeli security forces on Tuesday arrested five Palestinians, including two members of the West Bank General Intelligence Department, said reports.

According to Israel’s Army Radio, Israeli soldiers arrested two PA intelligence officers in the vicinity of the West Bank city of Ramallah overnight.

It added that the two were accused of carrying out anti-Israeli attacks.

Near Jenin, another three Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation troops early Tuesday, said the Palestinian news agency, WAFA.

Witnesses said that Israeli troops entered Yaabad village, and arrested Mohammed Atatrah, Emad Atatrah and Ala Shayeb.

On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 22 Palestinians in the West Bank.

Twenty were arrested in Hebron, while the other two, a Hamas activist and a police officer, were arrested in Jenin.

Under peace understandings between the PA and Israel, Jenin is classified as an 'A' area, which means it is ostensibly under full Palestinian control - Albawaba.com
