ALBAWABA - The Israeli army said Thursday that it struck a site it claims Iran used for developing nuclear arms, AFP reported.
The IDF revealed that it struck the "Taleghan" compound, where Tehran allegedly developed its nuclear arms.
"The ‘Taleghan’ compound, a site used by the Iranian regime to advance nuclear weapons capabilities. The compound was used to develop advanced explosives and conduct sensitive experiments as part of the covert ‘AMAD’ project in the 2000s," the IDF wrote on X.
This comes amid bombing sounds that rocked the capital of Tehran on the 13th day of the U.S.-Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic.
Plumes of smoke were seen rising from western Tehran, but the source of the explosions was not immediately clear, an AFP reporter said.
On the other hand, approximately 3.2 million people have been displaced inside Iran since the start of the escalation in the Middle East 13 days ago, the United Nations refugee agency said Thursday.
