ALBAWABA - The Israeli occupation army launched raids targeting several sites in the Al-Kiswah area, south of Damascus, and in the Daraa countryside late last night, Al-Jazeera reported on Tuesday.
Sources also told Al-Jazeera that Israeli forces had penetrated the administrative boundaries between the Daraa and Quneitra governorates in southern Syria.
Sources further added that the Israeli raids targeted a military site belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense in Tal al-Hara in the western countryside of Daraa and explained that the Israeli bombing of the Al-Kiswah area in the Damascus countryside targeted a military site belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense.
The sound of explosions and low-flying planes were reported in Damascus late Tuesday evening, Reuters said.
Al Jazeera correspondent in Daraa, Montaser Abu Nabut confirmed that these developments coincided with an Israeli incursion into the western countryside of Daraa, noting that the incursion included military vehicles, bulldozers and four-wheel drive vehicles, numbering approximately 20 vehicles.
