ALBAWABA - The Israeli army announced on Thursday that the Israel Air Force intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah.
Israeli media revealed that sirens were not heard.
This comes amid the ceasefire agreement inked by both Hezbollah and Israel on Nov. 27, 2024, to stop fighting which began on Oct. 8, 2023. This month, the ceasefire was extended to Feb. 26.
Hezbollah announced targeting northern Israel following the war that Tel Aviv launched against Gaza in 2023. In return, Israel attacked Hezbollah sites in Southern Israel and during one of the airstrikes it killed Hezbollah's former secretary general Hassan Nasrallah.
Not only Nasrallah, but Israel was also able to kill multiple high-ranking Hezbollah leaders, most notably Fuad Shukur, Ali Karaki, Mohammad Surour and Ibrahim Akil.
