Israel decided last week to cuts the amount of Tiberius water supply specified for Jordan by 100 barrels per day, Jordanian sources told the Saudi news agency Saturday.
The amount that was agreed to in the Wadi Araba Peace accord signed by the two parties on the 26th of October 1994.
The measure taken by the Israeli government comes at a time when Jordan is suffering from water shortage, the agency said.
The Jordanian sources added that the Israeli decision came as a result of the Jordanian position with regard to the deteriorating situation in the Palestinian territories and Israel’s excessive use of force against the Palestinians – Albawaba.com
