Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in the Gaza Strip on Monday following a rocket fire, according to the Israeli military.
In a statement, the army said fighter jets and a helicopter struck a number of Hamas targets in northern Gaza.
No injuries were reported.
The army said the attacks came after a rocket was launched from the Palestinian territory and intercepted by Iron Dome aerial defense system.
