ALBAWABA - The Israeli army issued an evacuation order to all residents of Gaza City, asking them to head via the Rashid axis to the "humanitarian" area in Al-Mawasi.
The army is currently carrying out extensive destruction operations in Gaza City, bombing the remaining multi-story buildings to force people to leave as part of a plan it announced earlier to occupy Gaza City and then to have full control of the Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that five high-rise buildings, comprising 209 apartments, were bombed in the past 72 hours, leaving more than 4,100 children, women, and the elderly homeless.
A few days ago, Israel began a gradual campaign of demolishing high-rise residential buildings in Gaza City, increasing the number of displaced families and forcing them into harsh displacement conditions.
Human rights activists warned that the goal is to forcibly displace Palestinians southward, as part of a broader Israeli-American plan to displace them outside the Strip.
