ALBAWABA - The Israeli Army radio reported that the Israeli Army has targeted the town of Kesrouane in Mount Lebanon north of Beirut for the first time, located 120 kilometers from the Lebanese borders.
The report added that the army struck more than 100 sites that are affiliated with Hezbollah.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that 10 people were killed in Israeli strikes on Wednesday, including two rare strikes in mountain areas outside Hezbollah's traditional strongholds in the south and east.
Earlier today, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) reported that Israel is preparing for a possible ground invasion in Lebanon, following days of steep escalation.
Over the last couple of weeks, Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging strikes and attacks, in which Israel managed to kill top Hezbollah commanders while in return the Lebanese group managed to target key Israeli sites.
