ALBAWABA - For the first time since the situation escalated at the Lebanese borders with Israel, Israeli Forces announced striking targets in eastern Lebanon.

At least two people were killed in the strikes on Bouday in Baalbek. An Israeli airstrike later targeted the al-Jarmaq area in Iqlim al-Tuffah, deep in south Lebanon.

Since Israel launched its latest brutal war on Gaza, Hezbollah, and Israel have been exchanging strikes on vital targets for both parties. According to AFP numbers, at least 278 people have been killed on the Lebanese side since the fighting began, the majority of whom are Hezbollah members, with 44 being civilians.

Aqsa Flood operation against Israel

Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
