ALBAWABA - Israel's internal security service, Shin Bet, said it thwarted an assassination attempt on National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Shin Bet revealed that a Hamas cell from the Hebron area attempted to target the Israeli minister using a drone bomb.

Local media in Israel said that the operation was carried out by Israeli security forces and the Israeli army during the past few weeks.

The Jerusalem Post mentioned, citing the investigation, that the suspects who had been detained were receiving direction from Hamas operatives in Turkey.
