ALBAWABA - Israeli media reported on Monday that Israel has significantly escalated its political and military rhetoric toward Iran, coinciding with a heightened state of security readiness.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a direct warning to Tehran from the Knesset podium, vowing an unprecedented response should Israel be attacked. Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, translated these messages into operational field preparations, emphasizing the army's readiness to immediately transition from defense to a large-scale offensive.

Netanyahu delivered a resolute speech during the Knesset session dedicated to discussing the "Forty Signatures" initiative, issuing a direct warning to Tehran: "If Iran attacks us, we will respond with a force you have never known before."

The Israeli news site Walla reported that Netanyahu's statement formed the strategic framework for Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir's field visit to the Home Front Command headquarters, where the political threats were translated into operational preparations on the ground.

Netanyahu and Zamir's statements came amid escalating fears of a potential Iranian attack on Israel in retaliation for a possible US strike against Tehran.
