ALBAWABA - In a recent development, the armed wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, has officially announced the delay in releasing the second group of prisoners. This delay is attributed to Israel's failure to adhere to the agreed-upon humanitarian conditions governing the release.

Originally, the release of the second group of prisoners, scheduled for today, was expected to proceed in accordance with the humanitarian conditions mutually established between Israel and Hamas.

In a significant development, the Israeli occupation has reportedly breached conditions set for a prisoner exchange with Hamas. The first breach involves Hamas's stipulation for the release of prisoners from the oldest to the newest in Israeli prisons. Contrary to the agreement, the Israeli army has released prisoners according to its own discretion, failing to adhere to the agreed-upon conditions.

Another violation emerged as the agreed-upon quantity of aid failed to reach Gaza, as per the terms outlined in the exchange deal. In response, Hamas refused to hand over its captives on the scheduled date, insisting that compliance from the Israeli occupation is necessary for the exchange to proceed.

In a subsequent response, the Israeli army issued threats, declaring that if Hamas did not release its captives, the existing ceasefire would be terminated. Moreover, the army threatened to initiate bombardment in Gaza starting at midnight. Despite these warnings, Hamas, through steadfast statements and resolute determination, conveyed to the international community that these threats were meanless and that its directives would be implemented.

In an unexpected turn, the Israeli occupation eventually yielded to the directives of the Hamas resistance movement, complying with the terms of the agreement that had been previously violated by the occupation.
