ALBAWABA - In a recent development, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have strategically deployed Apache helicopters to provide critical fire support for military vehicles facing rocket attacks in the northern region of Gaza. This decision was followed by tragic consequences, as a number of soldiers, seeking refuge in a targeted residence, were inadvertently struck by an Apache helicopter.
Yisrael Hayom, a newspaper, reported that IOF Air Force jets carried out a bombing operation on a building in Ghurah, unaware of the Israeli military presence inside. The result was a fatality and several injuries among the personnel. Helicopters are now actively involved in evacuating a substantial number of casualties and wounded soldiers from Gaza to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod.
Simultaneously, Qassam Brigades achieved a tactical success by targeting a Zionist force located within Ibn Othaimeen School. Using a TBG anti-fortification shell, they engaged the enemy from point zero, resulting in casualties in the northeastern part of Khan Yunis.
In a separate incident, Qassam fighters strategically rigged the entrance of a tunnel east of Tel al-Zaatar in northern Gaza with an improvised explosive device. Upon the arrival of Israeli soldiers and their attempt to access the tunnel, the device was detonated, leading to the unfortunate death of the son of former Chief of Staff and Minister in the Zionist War Council, Gadi Eisenkot, along with several other soldiers.
Adding to the complexity, Al-Quds Brigades targeted an enemy tank with an RPG shell, successfully destroying it on the Sheikh Radwan - Second Street axis. Fighters engaged advanced vehicles at close range, utilizing various weapons. Qassam Brigades further intensified their operations by bombarding concentrations of advancing enemy forces in the northern axis of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.
