An Israeli Arab resident of the Baka al-Gharbiyeh village was arrested last month for allegedly spying for Iranian intelligence, according to details of a case made public after a gag order was lifted Tuesday, Israeli media reported.

Mohammad Ghanem was arrested on November 9, on suspicion of aiding an "enemy state in wartime and contacts with a foreign agent". The man was arrested following an investigation by the Israeli security service and the police international crimes department.
