An AIDS-infected convict kept in an isolated cell in a police station after prison authorities refused to deal with him died Saturday at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, Haaretz reported Sunday.
The Israeli daily said Meir Hazizah, 35, who also suffered from hemophilia and hepatitis, had been sentenced to a seven-month prison term for attacking his mother and threatening policemen with an infected syringe -- Albawaba.com
