An Israeli was detained Wednesday by Egyptian soldiers who arrested him along the border with the Jewish state, reported The Jerusalem Post newspaper.
Sources quoted the Israeli as telling soldiers that he crossed the border earlier this morning in search of gas for his vehicle.
His abandoned car was found by passing motorists on Israeli side of the border, said the paper, adding that the Israeli army had contacts with Egyptian official to immediately release the Israeli – Albawaba.com
