ALBAWABA - According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 32 Palestinians have been killed and 193 injured in five massacres carried out by Israeli troops in the last two days. Since the Israeli attack began on October 7, 2023, the total number of fatalities has increased to 46,537 with 109,571 injuries.

According to the ministry, residential areas in many Gazan governorates were the focus of heavy Israeli bombing, which destroyed houses and killed whole families. It is becoming more and more difficult for hospitals to treat wounded patients due to severe shortages of medications and medical supplies.

In a similar event, the reporter for Al Jazeera stated that rescue operations in the northern Gaza region were hampered when Israeli troops hit the single civil defense vehicle in Jabalia. Due to a shortage of necessary replacement parts and equipment, a number of firefighting and rescue vehicles have suspended operations in Gaza, according to the civil defense.

In describing the scenario, a civil defense spokeswoman said, "The occupation is using heavy munitions that destroy entire residential blocks." He went on to say that the targeted attacks and the blocking of vital vehicle components make it impossible for rescue teams to carry out their tasks efficiently.

The spokesman cautioned that if rescue operations are consistently targeted, the humanitarian situation may deteriorate and emergency personnel may find it more difficult to react to citizen requests in the face of constant bombardment.

According to UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini, the organization has moved thousands of historical documents on Palestinian refugees from the West Bank and Gaza to a "secure location." Lazzarini stressed in his statement that "UNRWA is the custodian of Palestinian refugees' identity and history, with records preserved for 75 years."

In the meanwhile, the Israeli military verified that a missile headed for Kerem Shalom from southern Gaza had been intercepted. No injuries were recorded, despite sirens blaring in the border area.

With the embargo limiting the admission of sufficient humanitarian assistance and exacerbating the hardship of Palestinians who face daily bombardments, food shortages, and medical shortages, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains severe.
