ALBAWABA - Israeli forces reportedly opened fire on Palestinians waiting for relief in the Gaza Strip, resulting in injuries.

Israeli drones reportedly targeted hundreds of Palestinians who were gathering at Kuwait Junction in the eastern section of Gaza and Nabulsi Junction in the western part, according to sources in the Gaza health sector.

The injured and dead were sent to Shifa Hospital, where it was seen that a large number of the wounded had arrived in serious condition, placing additional strain on the hospital's already meager medical supplies.

Details surrounding the casualties are still unknown, despite the fact that a formal statement about the tragedy has not yet been released.

This latest strike comes after two other incidents on February 29 and March 2, when Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinians who were seeking assistance, leaving over 100 dead and 786 injured.

Jordan, working with allies Egypt, the United States, France, and Belgium, has launched airdrops of aid to the beleaguered northern Gaza Strip in response to the terrible humanitarian situation.

This is the thirty-fiveth time that Jordan has sent aid to Gaza since Israel started attacking on October 7.

Concerned about Gaza's worsening situation, the UN has issued a warning that 2.2 million people could face starvation as a result of Israel's ongoing attacks.

Due to ongoing wheat shortages, Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, where hundreds of thousands are in danger of hunger, have taken to grinding animal feed.
