Israeli troops shot dead a 20-year-old Tanzim member in a refugee camp in the West Bank town of Tulkarem before dawn Friday, Palestinian witnesses said. Another Tanzim man was seriously wounded.
Witnesses said troops stormed into the Tulkarem refugee in jeeps and armored personnel carriers shortly after midnight and searched several houses.
They said soldiers fired at the two men without provocation from one of the houses toward the street.
In Hebron and Mount Hebron, five Palestinians were arrested overnight Friday, Israel Radio reported. (Albawaba.com)
