ALBAWABA- Israeli forces assassinated three Palestinians in Al-Far’a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, while two others were arrested.

In a separate incident, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli drone fire in the town of Al-Shawka, east of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas issued a statement mourning the slain fighters from Tubas, stating that they were killed in a confrontation with Israeli forces after refusing to surrender when their house was surrounded.

The group condemned the killings, warning that such assassinations would only strengthen Palestinian resistance in the West Bank.

Hamas also criticized the Palestinian Authority's ongoing security operations, calling the timing of the Israeli attack a reflection of the dangers of security coordination with Israel.

The escalation comes as Hamas prepares to release six Israeli prisoners and hand over four bodies as part of the first phase of a ceasefire deal.

Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for Hamas's military wing, confirmed that the remains of the Bibas family and Israeli prisoner Oded Lifshitz would be returned on Thursday.

He reiterated that the Israeli hostages were alive before their detention sites were bombed by Israeli aircraft.

The latest Israeli operations in the West Bank highlight the continued violence and tensions despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations, further complicating efforts to de-escalate the conflict.
