Israeli forces detained six Palestinians and raided several homes across Nablus refugee camps and villages early Thursday, locals said.

Locals in the Al-Faraa refugee camp in northern Nablus told Ma'an that Israeli forces raided several homes in the camp and detained Bashar Abd al-Jabbar Barahmeh, 46, Fares Ibrahim Salahat, 33, and Muhammad Fayiz Hanajreh, 35.

Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian security services member Nasser Moussa Hassan al-Naqib overnight as they raided a barbershop in the nearby Askar refugee camp.

In eastern Nablus, Israeli forces detained Saddam Salem Ali Kaayneh, 25, as well as Ahmad Hussam al-Faqih, 22, from Iraq Burin, who Israeli forces allegedly assaulted before detaining him.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not have immediate information but told Ma'an she would look into the detentions.

Thursdays arrests come after Jihad Ahmad Ruhi Akka, 18, was arrested yesterday for allegedly having a sharp object in his car.

Israeli forces routinely raid homes and detain individuals in the Nablus area and across the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem, over 6,000 Palestinians currently being held in Israeli jails.
