ALBAWABA - Joshua Tartakovsky, an Israeli citizen who was arrested by Lebanese security forces, is said to be deported from Lebanon to the United States, Israeli media reported Thursday.
Israeli Army Radio revealed that the American-Israeli citizen who was arrested in Beirut was released and deported to the US.
Yesterday, Lebanese security forces announced arresting Joshua Tartakovsky, who identifies himself as a journalist over his suspicious behavior.
According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, the Israeli citizen, 42, entered Beirut using his British passport two weeks ago and was arrested on Tuesday.

According to Hebrew media, the US authorities have intervened in the case of Tartakovsky, who was dubbed as an Israeli spy," stating that he was freed and deported from Lebanon to Washington.
However, no Lebanese official nor any newspaper confirmed the news of Joshua Tartakovsky's deportation.
Ynet reported that Joshua was part of the ultra-Orthodox community in Jerusalem. He was also an alumnus of Brown University and the London School of Economics.
Some reports mentioned that Joshua was born in the US to a Jewish family and holds the American nationality as well.
