ALBAWABA - In a strategic shift, the Israeli military is reportedly preparing to bring an end to ground assaults on the Gaza Strip in the weeks ahead, marking the third phase of the conflict.

According to reliable sources speaking to Israeli state television, KAN, the decision is based on the cessation of ground maneuvers within Gaza, a reduction in troop numbers, the demobilization of reserve forces, the initiation of air strikes, and the establishment of a buffer zone along the Israel-Gaza border.

Despite their desperate attempts to sugarcoat the failure of their ground offensive, the majority of social media users, based on their comments and interactions, are fully aware of the staggering losses inflicted upon the army and the terror instilled in their hearts, as political analysts suggest.

In addition, the Israeli occupation government has failed to provide any evidence of control within the sector. This has led to numerous voices asserting that it is neither a third phase nor military achievements but rather an escape from death and withdrawal.

The unnamed sources also disclosed that while the Israeli military has successfully taken control of much of the northern region in Gaza, progressing in the southern region has proven to be a formidable challenge.

Earlier Israeli reports revealed that since the onset of attacks on Gaza on October 7, a total of 472 soldiers have lost their lives, with 139 casualties occurring during ground operations. Additionally, 784 officers and soldiers have sustained injuries, comprising 179 in critical condition, 302 in moderate condition, and 303 in a light condition. These figures were released through official channels on the military's website
