ALBAWABA - In a recent incident, a rocket struck the Egyptian town of Taba, located near the border with Israeli occupation, resulting in damage to a medical facility and injuries to six individuals. The rocket hit a residential building, causing structural damage.

According to Egyptian news channel "Al-Qahira," citing reliable sources, the incident is currently under thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding it. Fortunately, there were no reported fatalities, but six people sustained minor injuries.

A source described as "official" emphasized that once the origin of the rocket launch is identified, all possible measures will be taken to address the situation. Egypt retains the right to respond to this incident.

As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement from Egyptian authorities regarding the event.

Notably, a few days ago, an Israeli tank accidentally fired upon an Egyptian site near the border in the Karm Abu Salem area, an incident characterized as unintentional by Israeli occupation authorities.

At that time, the Egyptian military reported "minor injuries to border monitoring personnel due to shrapnel from an Israeli shell launched by mistake," while the Israeli occupation side expressed regret for the inadvertent event.

These occurrences take place against the backdrop of three weeks of intense Israeli occupation airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, resulting in extensive destruction and a high number of casualties. Hamas has issued warnings that "unless the Israeli aggression ceases, the entire region may spiral out of control."
