Israeli police arrested seven members of the Jewish Temple Mount Faithful group near the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City, reported the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
The group members were stopped as they tried to break through a cordon near the Mograbi Gate entrance to al-Haram al-Sharif, said the paper.
It added that the group is protesting a possible Israeli transfer of sovereignty over al-Haram al-Sharif to the Palestinian National Authority -- Albawaba.com
