Israeli Radio reported Saturday that the police in Haifa received overnight a phone call by a person who identified himself as a taxi driver, claiming that he had dropped an Arab with two heavy bags on the beach in Haifa.
He added that as he drove, the passenger was having a cellular phone conversation, from which the driver understood that the man was going to blow himself up in a crowded restaurant in the area.
The report said that the police immediately went to the beach and started to evacuate all people from restaurants and clubs there. The alleged suicide bomber was not found, but a state of high alert was declared in the Haifa area - Albawaba.com
