The Israeli police suspect a bomb blast on Sunday at a mosque in Haifa was the work of hardline nationalist Jews, according to the Hebrew website Ynet.com.
Quoting unofficial comments by police officers in the Haifa region, the report said that the bomb, which caused burns to an Arab-Israeli woman, was placed in Halisah neighborhood with the aim of kindling tension between Arabs and Jews in Haifa.
The police are also investigating whether there is a connection between this incident and two other fake bombs laid in the past months in Arab neighborhoods in the port city – Albawaba.com
