ALBAWABA - In a concerning development, the occupation's tanks have been deployed around Shifa Hospital, Gaza's largest medical facility, with reports indicating a dire situation.

The World Health Organization expressed concern as communication with the hospital has been cut off, raising fears about the well-being of those seeking refuge there.

Earlier, it was disclosed that attempts to evacuate 37 infants in life-threatening conditions from incubators were hindered, as the Israeli occupation military fired at any movement. Despite Israel's claim of opening a humanitarian corridor, Gazan authorities reported that the cardiology department of Shifa Hospital was demolished during the purported easing of tensions.

Shifa Hospital, a vital refuge for thousands, is now inaccessible, adding to the growing humanitarian crisis in the region. The occupation's army spokesperson assured efforts to coordinate with hospital staff for the safe transfer of infants to alternative medical facilities.

Gazan Health Ministry officials reported a severe blow to the hospital, stating that the cardiac surgery section was bombed, resulting in its complete destruction. Concurrently, Israeli occupation forces tightened their grip around Shifa Hospital.

In a harrowing revelation, the Palestinian Red Crescent disclosed that the hospital, situated in Gaza City's heart, is now encircled by the occupation's tanks. Inside, 14,000 displaced Gazans are grappling with panic and fear as the humanitarian situation takes a critical turn. The call for an independent examination of the hospital's conditions is amplified amid escalating tensions, with Hamas seeking an impartial investigation into the matter.
