ALBAWABA - Israeli media reported that at least two people were killed and seven others were injured in a building fire in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Post reported citing Magen David Adom (MDA), that two men in their 30s were killed after a fire erupted in a building in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze'ev.

MDA also added that seven others were transferred to hospitals with various degrees of injuries due to the fire.

The reason behind the building fire was not determined in the statement, however, some attributed it to the Iranian attack on Israel.

Iran launched on Saturday night hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles against Israel in response to the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria killing seven IRGC members, which Tehran blames Tel Aviv for carrying.

Daniel Hagari, IDF Spokesperson, said Iran fired 170 drones, more than 30 cruise missiles and more than 120 ballistic missiles.
