Italy Opens $100m Credit Line for Iran

Italian credit company Texco signed an agreement on Sunday with the Exports Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) to provide the latter with a $100 million credit for the import of raw materials and intermediate parts from Italy, Tahran Times reported. 

The Public Relations Department of the EGFI was quoted by the daily as saying that the agreement was signed by Franco Fenli, managing director of the Italian company and head of the EGFI Hossein Karbalaei. 

The agreement, according to the paper, calls on the Italian company to supply the credit within 30 days of the ratification of the contract -- Albawaba.com
