In their long-standing commitment to open communication channels in what would benefit the company and its stakeholders, Itisaluna Abr Iraq, the latest National Fixed Wireless Voice and Data Telecommunications Company in Iraq, held a large-scale convention for all its authorized dealers over a period of two days of this month.
The convention, which was held in Beirut at the Radisson SAS Hotel, brought Itisaluna's dealers in Baghdad, Basra and Karbala together with representatives from Itisaluna, and included a number of discussion sessions and debates centered mostly on the practical and commercial plans of the company devised for its 2008/2009 product lineup.
"We are always glad to meet with the company's dealers to discuss our pending issues with them in an open and detailed manner," said Itisaluna's official spokesperson. "We believe in the importance of the role they play and the significance of their points-of-view to the development of the work process. They are to us essential partners and pillars for the company's successful progress."
The convention began with a welcome speech given by Itisaluna's work team and an overview of the discussion sessions held over the two days.
Itisaluna's work team also explained the basic guidelines developed by the company's specialists pertaining to the service subscriptions, delivery and payment methods. Dealers were also trained on some new products developed by the company which are to be released within the next few weeks.
Among the most important sessions held during the convention were those that highlighted Itisaluna's market share, market presence and the popularity of the company's services amongst individuals and enterprises. Dealers said that Itisaluna's products are experiencing more and more demand, and the reason behind that is the high quality of these services and the highly competitive prices set by the company. This is a combination all Iraqis seek in a company catering to their communication needs.
Dealers also said that the innovative service offered by the company were a primary factor in its market presence, such as SMS, call waiting and forwarding, and caller ID, not to mention the unique entertainment services such as interactive voice response (IVR), which offers information and contests to subscribers and allows them to listen to their horoscopes, tip of the day, and to dedicate songs. Entertainment services also include SMS2TV – a service that allows users to send short messages in Arabic and English to television channels and programs, and the Funbox service that provides segments of Ghazali and Classical poetry, horoscopes, jokes and others.
