iTRACS Corporation, the leader in infrastructure management solutions, has announced plans to open a corporate office and development centre in Dubai with jurisdiction over the Middle East and North Africa region.

iTRACS already offers sales and support services to regional clients through its distribution partners in the UAE. iTRACS is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois with development offices in Tempe, Arizona.  The company has sales offices across the US, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.  The proposed Dubai corporate office will be the company’s latest facility.

Saket Subramaniam, Regional Sales Director, Middle East, iTRACS said: “The Middle East and North Africa region has emerged as a significant market for advanced Infrastructure Management solutions. As network infrastructures grow in size, complexity and speed, reducing downtime and ensuring high rate of Moves, Adds, Changes (MACs) becomes essential. iTRACS’ new corporate office in Dubai will cater to this growing demand.”

A global software company, iTRACS provides an Internet-enabled, standards-based enterprise software for new and existing network infrastructures called iTRACS Physical Layer Manager, that is designed to establish and manage best practices for physical infrastructure changes in both office and data centre facilities.

The solution uses advanced technology to automatically discover and monitor port connectivity in real-time by enabling the creation of an enterprise database that describes passive and intelligent assets hierarchically and illustrates their connectivity to each other. iTRACS’ Physical Layer Manager offers software enhancement modules to include iDiscover, iLogin and iPBX.

“The iTRACS solution is ideally suited for professionals who require immediate visibility of physical components in their complex, diversified networks as it enables them to maintain high availability and security of their IT infrastructures, ensures compliance and facilitates trouble-shooting,” Subramaniam pointed out.

iTRACS serves global customers in financial services, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, education and retail among other industries in over 35 countries, and has deployed more than 5,000 server licenses.  iTRACS has partnerships with reputed global hardware OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) companies including Tyco, Molex, Siemon, Nexans and Ortronics/Legrand.

“Deploying the iTRACS solution brings considerable benefits in the form of increased productivity, reduced operating costs, faster return-on-investment and lower Total Cost of Ownership. The iTRACS solution also reduces risk or impact of costly security breaches, increases service levels, ensures better infrastructure and device utilisation, improves effectiveness of diagnosis and trouble-shooting, reduces remote site visits or staffing levels and promotes business continuity,” Subramaniam added.
