Japanese Company to Evaluate Omani Oil Installations

Japan's Petroleum Energy Center (PEC) will conduct a study to evaluate the reliability of existing refining oil facilities in Oman, reported the English daily Oman Observer.  

An agreement to this effect will be signed in Muscat on Monday, said the paper. 

PEC, a non-profit organization supervised by Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry, is involved in a number of initiatives designed to promote ties between Japan and oil-producing countries, especially in the Middle East, the paper said - Albawaba.com
