Authorities of Jeddah Port, the main sea outlet in Saudi Arabia, have opened a new terminal with the capacity of 400,000 standard containers per year, according to Saudi Press Agency.
The agency added that during its second stage, which will begin after one year of commencement of the operation, the terminal will handle 600,000 standard containers.
The new containers terminal, which covers an area of 800.000 square meters, is equipped with four container cranes placed along four berths, each 1,000 meters long, said SPA –Albawba.com
