Pin-up actress Jennifer Love Hewitt will be heading straight to hell for her next role, as the Devil.
The Devil and Daniel Wester, co-starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, who will also direct, is due to begin filming in New York next January 2000.
Hewitt says, "It's definitely a different role than I normally
take, but the character is amazing and really well written.
"It is a more grown up role for me. I want to show I am growing
up as a woman and a human being and am ready to take on more adult
roles.
"This project has all the things an actor looks for. And
obviously working with Alec and Anthony is never a bad thing!"
As the devil, the former Party Of Five star will battle Hopkins for the soul of a writer, portrayed by Baldwin – Wenn.
