The joint Kuwaiti-Egyptian committee, whose next meeting was scheduled to convene on March 20th, decided Monday to postpone it until after the upcoming Arab summit in Jordan, an Egyptian diplomatic source told the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).
The meeting will be rescheduled, said the source, since both foreign ministers will be tied up preparing for the Arab summit.
Both countries signed in January a 50-million- dollar agreement to build a plant to manufacture natural gas pipes.
The agreement was signed between state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Egyptian representatives of four natural gas companies.
The plant, to be built in the Suez Canal city of Port Said, is expected to take 18 months to complete, said the agency -- Albawaba.com
