The joint Qatar-Bahraini higher committee convenes on Monday in Doha as both countries signed an agreement last month to bolster bilateral ties, reported the Gulf News.
The agreement was reached during a visit by Bahrain's emir Seikh Hamad al-Khalifa to Doha.
The committee, said the paper, will discuss establishing a bridge linking the two Gulf states, setting up joint project and establishing a joint council to promote investment.
Bahrain's Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, will co-chair the meeting, the paper added.
Bahrain and Qatar turned a new page in their relations after settling a decades-old territorial dispute through a ruling on March 16 by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that was welcomed by both states.
The ICJ endorsed Bahrain's sovereignty over the Hawar islands and Qitat Jarada island, but the Zubara strip stayed in the hands of the Qatari peninsula, which was also awarded the Fasht al-Dibel rocks and Jinan island.
