Saint-Gobain Weber, part of Saint-Gobain group and worldwide leader in Industrial Mortars, has finalized a joint-venture agreement with SODAMCO Holding, mother-company of the SODAMCO group.
Celebrating this year its 25 years anniversary, SODAMCO group is an active player in the field of industrial mortars (tile fixing, façade and flooring products, technical mortars) as well as in admixtures, and is a regional leader in Middle East and Gulf area, more particularly in Lebanon, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Kuwait. SODAMCO group employs 400 persons and has achieved last year a turnover of circa 75 M-USD.
This agreement enables Saint-Gobain Weber to set up in a region having experienced a very dynamic growth over the last years and the development of which, enhanced by the financial stability of the area, benefits from favourable perspectives for the future.
In addition, this agreement provides Saint-Gobain with a firm and well-established position for developing its whole range of products and services destined to the habitat and construction markets in the region.
