Jordan’s King, Egypt’s President discuss Middle East crisis by phone

Jordan’s King Abdullah II received on Saturday a telephone call from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, within the follow up framework the two leaders are conducting to crystallize an Arab stance on the tense situation in the Palestinian territories and the peace proposals set currently to re-launch the middle east peace process.  

 

According to a statement, the two leaders affirmed the need for inter-Arab coordination, intensifying efforts to end the cycle of violence, stop the Israeli policy of military escalation, and speed up steps to bring the peace process back on track, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
