Jordan’s King Abdullah II left Amman on Monday to London en route to Washington for talks with US President George W. Bush, reported the official Petra news agency.
The Jordanian monarch will be the second Arab leader to meet with Bush.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who is in Washington, is due to meet Bush later in the day. Talks will focus on the stumbling Middle East peace process, according to reports, which added that Mubark will persuade Bush to take a more active role in the region – Albawaba.com
