Jordan Insurance Company (JIC) participated in sponsoring the Health Care Conference organized by the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) at the Meridian Hotel in Amman between the 28th and 30th of June 2010, under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
The conference, which is organized with the support of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQUA), aims to reinforce the relations between key figures in the regional health care sector by bridging communication gaps and promoting experience sharing. The conference also seeks to change the culture of the sectors' stakeholders by encouraging news lines of thought and higher standards for the industry as a whole.
JIC's participation in the conference springs from the many objectives the company shares with the conference organizers. "This initiative comes as part of our longstanding commitment to bolstering the standards of health care in Jordan and the region, which will help increase the quality of health care services provided to our citizens to rival those provided by developed countries," said JIC's Managing Director Mr. Imad Abdel Khaleq. "This falls in line with our insurance message and our objectives to spread awareness in the various forms of insurance."
Through its training workshops, the conference targets hospital seniors, medical service providers, researchers and health care policy makers, in addition to health insurance companies and medical doctors working in the health care sectors.
