Jordan: New cabinet sworn in

A Royal Decree was issued on Sunday approving the formation of the new Jordanian government of Nader Al Dahabi. According to Petra news agency, the new ministers were sworn in before King Abdullah II in the presence of Royal Family members, Chief of the Royal Court and the King's Advisors.

 

The new 28 member cabinet of technocrats includes a record four women ministers. Al Dahabi replaced Marouf al-Bakhit, who resigned following Tuesday's parliamentary elections to the 110-seat Chamber of Deputies.
