ALBAWABA - A Jordanian Royal Air Force aircraft successfully conducted the second airdrop of critical medical supplies in Gaza, according to the Jordan Armed Forces on Saturday.
The Jordan Armed Forces reaffirmed that the second medical supplies airdrop came in alignment with Royal directives as hospitals in the Gaza Strip are suffering a shortage in medical equipment amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes which are targeting medical complexes.
In addition, Jordan also revealed that urgent medical aid was sent using parachutes to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza (Hospital 76).
Jordan's aid delivery was in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar with aims to assist hospitals and the medical staff's capabilities to treat people injured in continuous war.
Jordan Armed Forces posted on X: "King Abdullah II directs the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army to continue sending medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza."
On Nov. 6, the Jordanian King posted on social media saying that Jordan's Armed Forces carried a successful airdrop of medical aid and supplies at midnight urgent medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza.

King Abdullah II wrote: "Our fearless air force personnel air-dropped at midnight urgent medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza. This is our duty to aid our brothers and sisters injured in the war on Gaza. We will always be there for our Palestinian brethren."
According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, the death toll from Israeli attacks has jumped to 11,078, thousands of whom are children.
"The victims include 4,506 children, 3,027 women, and 678 elderly people, while 27,490 people were injured," the ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra added.
