ALBAWABA - One person was murdered and another was injured in a tragic shooting incident that took place in the Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank due to an attack from a moving car.

Security personnel are reportedly pursuing the car that was engaged in the shooting near the Jordan Valley village of Mehola, according to Israeli Army Radio.

The Israeli military has sent more troops to the region in reaction to the event. The army verified that its soldiers are conducting a widespread operation in the area and aggressively looking for the assailants. Numerous automobiles close to the Mehola village were apparently the targets of the attackers.

Israeli troops attacked the northern Jordan Valley towns of Kardala and Bardala after the incident.

Two automobiles were engaged in the gunfire on Route 90 near Mehola, according to Israel's Channel 13. Additionally, the occurrence was claimed by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority to have happened at two separate places in the Jordan Valley.
